" I die daily"-1st Corinthians 15:31- last night while reflecting on the very sad westgate incident, the Holy Spirit reminded me of this verse. When accidents, terrorist acts etc happen...because of the lost lives there is such overwhelming sadness and publicity. Jesus died alone having been forsaken by His disciples and being critized by those He was dying for. " you saved others, save yourself" they taunted Him. This is a reminder to those called to Leadership of any kind e.g family leadership, Church Leadership, Marketplace leadership etc... " I die daily"- "take up your cross and follow me"- as we continue to pray remember Jesus said "I will NEVER leave YOU, I will NEVER forsake YOU"- let us be strong in the LORD and dont walk in fear of death if you have Jesus in your heart " for to be absent in the body is to be present witg the LORD" if you dont have Jesus in your heart- dont wait for a crisis- accept HIM today. In a world full of evil and turmoil- Jesus will carry you through.
