I discovered that yesterday, April 15, 27 percent of my 2013 tax bill went to the military, plus another 5 percent to veterans benefits. That comes to about one-third of my taxes. For war. Something is wrong here. Im happy to pay whatever is necessary to support the needs of veterans. But Im not so happy to fork over money to the military-industrial complex. The US spends 48 percent of the worlds total military expenditures. We have bases in 150 countries. This has to stop! In the name of God, this has to stop! in the name of Jesus, this has to stop!
