I dislike slavery movies: I personally dont like movies about slavery. Black people Surprise of Surprises do live other lives; many devoid even of street violence. Many live lives of quiet, comfortable joy. They may get upset at injustice toward any group, which only means that they take their humanity seriously. They sleep comfortably, eat will, have good friends, do fun things, and it just might be that we are doing ourselves a disservice in supporting movies about slavery, and not movies about the real black life that is good. Perhaps, Hollywood doesnt feel that people would pay money to see this kind of movie. lol. I just had to laugh out loud, as I considered a movie without violence, and profanity, in which many of us live, but where is the profit in that? The only time I hear the N word is when Im discussing it. :) What a boring life some might think, but watching the rich and the players in politics, (Which I now do less and less, its very boring) keeps it well full of life and drama. They take us to the brink, and then pull back at the last moment, keeping us all on the edge of our seats. Its like they are competing with Hollywood, wanting also to be Superstars.
