"I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul.... Put your hope in the Lord." Psalm 131 I admit that I have been disturbed to the point of distraction with the recent political events in the country of my birth. However, I am reminded that those matters are things that I can do little about (other than pray), and are happening in an arena that I have not been called to. I have been called by a king whose kingdom is not of this world to be an ambassador, and that is my first priority and primary purpose. That assurance brings peace to my soul and my hope remains in the Lord.
