I do not eat dead birds or any other creatures and rarely watch - TopicsExpress

I do not eat dead birds or any other creatures and rarely watch football games. But I am full of thanks and empathize with what our early European settlers endured. This American holiday was started by them. They and the U.S. founders were generally all believers in Jesus Christ and the Bible. Just like me! A fly on the wall could tell you that I am continually giving thanks for many aspects of my awesome life each and every day! So Thanksgiving is really no different to me than any other day, though I like that it emphasizes giving thanks to the creator of us all and all that we possess! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. – 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV) The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. – Psalm 28:7 (NIV) Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. – Psalm 106:1 (NIV) Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV) And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. – Colossians 3:17 (NIV) Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. – Psalm 95:2–3 (NIV) For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. – 1 Timothy 4:4–5 (NIV) The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. – Psalm 28:7 (NIV)
