I do not fall for the premise that a song with meaningful lyrics should be listened to and enjoyed for the sole purpose of the message the writer is trying to convey. I have had people try to convince me to listen to songs for this reason; it baffles me. Night Prowler - a song basically about stalking, Do I condone stalking? Of course not. The lyrics do not matter, the song is a classic nonetheless. As a matter of fact Id probably be just fine if music didnt include lyrics at all. Why should I bother listening to a song that I wouldnt otherwise because it has a good message? Baffling, friends. Baffling.
