I do not think that many cdes who complain about the disbandement - TopicsExpress

I do not think that many cdes who complain about the disbandement and postponement of the elctive congress of the ANCYL national congress are for the unity, cohesion and streangthening of the YL. In the first place that decision should have also gone down to disband all provinces of the YL because I have long said that the YL is in ICU and the NTT was not in the sober position to help it. The emphasis of the work of the NTT was on administrative readiness of the YL while the building process of any organisation required that an organisation be politically ready. Political readiness includes, placing a concerted efforts on the ideological work to the youth, it includes allowing the process of building structures to be secondary following such political education process. Organic leadership of the YL will therefore arise in that process not the otherway round. This view has no faction but organisational process of rebuilding an ailing organisation. Yes from a long term point of view, the decision by the ANC may also affect the autonomy of the YL in its totality in future but whatelse could have been done? The YL is an intergral part of the ANC, so where necessary it must intervene. Lets now all focus on Local Government elections. Umntu emntwini madoda please and stop complaining
