I do not trust goodreads reviews. Anyone can go on there and type anything they want. I have found quite a few people who have simply copy/pasted someone elses review. I have busted people out of never having read my books leaving a poor review and then finding out they are an author in the same genre as myself. I have even had people leave reviews of my second book who havent even read the first book. Uh, its a series. You kind of need to read the first book first. Ive had people in Abu Dhabi rate my books. Uh, yeah, seriously doubt Im that world renowned...yet. Just saying. All in all, goodreads is unreliable. I dont even visit my book pages on there simply because I dont have time to filter through what may be real, honest, critiques and what is the fantasy or a bored, whacked out, competitor.
