I donated my native costume & antique Bedouin saddle (imported by Roger Selby when he imported *Raffles) to the Arabian Horse Galleries Museum at the International Museum of the Horse in Lexington, KY. If you look closely, the photo with me riding SUR BALASTRA+ is in the background of this display. (Photo of horse and rider was taken about 1976, Galleries photo taken about four years ago.) My mother (deceased) made the costume for me out of fabric imported from Aleppo, Syria, from a pattern used for a priests robe :) The saddle has a rare camel leather seat which is very slippery to ride in (usually the seat is made of wool),
