I dont care about your political affiliation, if you dont share this, you dont deserve to be an American. They dont care if their Commander-in-Chief is named Obama or Bush, they give everything they have to protect us as our leaders see fit. You can disagree with the why, but you cant disagree with the who. They are our Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Sons, Daughters, Friends, and Family of any other sort. They deserve our gratitude, not our condolences. While it may be easy to say Thanks to our relatives or friends that have served, this is about those that may not have family to help them back. Please recognize the veterans in your life, especially the ones that may not have the love and support your family has. They may have family, but arent supported like you support your family. They deserve to know they matter. No soldier should feel like their sacrifice was for nothing. Look around you. That is what their sacrifice was for. Please dont let any veteran that you may even remote know, think that their sacrifice was in vain. We owe them so much. It is a debt we can only repay with gratitude. Letting them live/die in the streets is not fulfilling that debt. We can do better. We must do better.
