I dont get Iphone Mania. It may sound odd that I, surrounded by a bewildering collection of gadgets, just cannot understand why someone would stand in line for hours or days just to get the latest iteration of a utilitarian object. Ive always been a function over form kind of guy, I guess. When I needed a phone, I walked into Northern Music, found one that did what I wanted, and got it- this latest time a Galaxy 4. I can make calls, send texts, listen to music, take pictures (lots), talk to it if I want, navigate the wilds of rural Pennsylvania, check the Yankees, keep my calendar, scope the weather, play games, watch video, and use it as a flashlight. No line of devotees, no breathless hordes, no waiting. Just a device that functions at a higher level then Ill probably ever fully need. Function over form. And, the form isnt all that bad, at that. I can always get some white earbuds, if I want to impress...
