I dont have a problem with the US gov having over sight. Its the power to use it to make new rules. Thats the problem. It should have the power to find our if our laws are being followed and that ok. It when the same committee starts to dictate policy. No. The people and the companies should come up with the bylaws of the internet and such. The committee should just have the power to insure companies follow the bylaws. Not tracking but only investigating issues and after warrant is obtained.
