I dont know Mrs. Griffin so what I am about to say is not personal. This is an injustice to our students at Moss Point. The revolving door that has been installed at the Superintendent office must be removed!!!! In order to turn a failing program into a successful program the First Requirement must be longevity and dedication. The turnover in the Superintendent office MUST Cease! There will be those who agree that Mrs Griffin leaving this office is good due to the lack of progress the district has made under her leadership. I dont disagree with that synopsis. My deeper concern is the root problem of not selecting the correct person for this job. Over and over the school board has Searched for Superintendents. How about we discontinue trying to find a national prospect to come to our local problems and solve them. Lets try something different-how about selecting one of our home grown administrators. GIVE Moss Point a chance to save Moss Point! It may just work!!! If not it cant be worst than being the Resume Builder and Retirement school district for Superintendents to come to our city and leave it off worst than when they came!!
