I dont know about you, but I had never heard of Nikola Tesla until I well into my 20s. My university training hadnt informed me of his inventions, or about his relationship with Thomas Edison, or his shabby treatment at the hands of Edison or J.P. Morgan. Whats more, I knew nothing of his plan to provide electric power to the masses at no charge—the plan that got him murdered in the end. But when I did learn about Tesla, I became what can only be characterized as royally pissed off.
