I dont know about you, but often I dont have a clue what God is doing !! I was soooo disappointed when we had to cancel our bush trip this Easter weekend. We were packed and on the road at 7:00am, went to meet Kens translator only to find out there was a death in the village and everyone would be going to the funeral! (Remember we are in Africa everything is different here, especially funerals). We had a call earlier in the week from people we met last year in the US. They moved to a nearby town in January and were coming to Livingstone for the weekend and had hopes of getting together. We explained we would not be here - but maybe next time. Well, when our trip was cancelled we called the Emerts Courtney Patterson Emert to see if they would like to get together or go to church together on Sunday ... AND WE DID! As you know (from my many prayer requests) fellowship with other Americans is often hard to come by - especially when you are new to the area. So today our mission was the Emert Family! What a blessing to do life today with a sweet new family on the field in CHOMA !! If you live in or near CHOMA - get to know them ! They are a precious family! We have rescheduled our bush trip for next weekend !! Blessings!!
