Dont let me sidetrack alone - and I REALLY dont want to talk about it (at least as it pertains to a specific religion) but during my last trip to Iraq, while working in the hospital there, I met a spectacular young man with a thick Puerto Rican accent, and we became friends. I speak with him annually - at best - but always hold him, and his family in my heart. Anyhow, recently Ive struggled greatly with nightmares of wounded/burned/dead and dying - especially of the innocent children - and out of the blue, I get this text. Tony Johnston dont give up. God is still working. I replied. How did you know I was struggling my brother? (With the TBI honestly I dont know whats going on a lot of the time) So I added, did I already tell you this? He said, (sic) I was praying for you my brother and I get the revelation He followed this up with several other supporting words. So, my friends, who is it that you are meant to reach out to today? I dont care what - if any - religion you support (this is about spirit) and people knowing when their friends need help/love/support. He added we leave to soldier behind So hopefully you feel the same, and find the person most in need of your support today.
