I dont know how any of you feel, but I just got a call from a man wanting to adopt one of my puppies as a late Christmas gift for his girlfriend.....I told him I would love to let his girlfriend adopt one of these puppies but she herself would have to pass the background check for prior animal abuse, vet references, contract and a home check.....needless to say the man got mad and hung up....O well, since I am one of the few rescues that dont have a adoption fee, I have to be real careful of who my dogs go to...life goes on huh.
