I dont know how to talk and relate to friends and family who are quicker to castigate and criticise Israel than stand behind it. Who are ready to condemn the Israeli government but not the terrorist organisations trying to ruin Israel and kill its people. Who refuse to see the eager anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment that is springing up from across the world and to dismiss and laugh off its pernicious and dangerous portent. Who tell me to get on a plane and come home when I feel so deeply connected to the land in which I am living. Running down to the shelters for my safety is the least of my worries right now. My worry is for the lives of our brothers and sisters on the front line and for the future of Israel and for the safety of Jews everywhere.
