I dont know if the right wing can make it another two years without their heads literally exploding. Taking control of Congress does not seem to have given them any sense of relief. And my Republican friends - who were already too annoying to have dinner with any more- are just in a seething state. I thought I despised W and Cheney, and I do - but I never attained the level of hate these people feel. They really viscerally, insanely, ragingly hate Obama. They will NOT use the n word in front of ME... They want to remain ambulatory, with legs and arms that still work and heads still connected to their bodies, and they instinctively sense that it might be a risky situation if they get tooooooooo explicit. But you know how sometimes you can just FEEL that word in the back of someones throat, on the tip of their tongue, and you know they are holding their breath because they are THINKING IT so hard they are afraid it is going to fly right past their teeth? So they just SPIT the words they say, but leave THAT word out? That is what I am experiencing. And it makes me furious. WHAT to do with such blind hate, such irrational anger, such stupidity? They cannot name one single true thing to be mad about. Whatever issue they bring up against him, it is always twisted. They do not have their facts straight. But frankly, even if they DID have the facts right, which they do not - I have NO idea why they are in such a RAGE about any of it, anyway. It is not as if they havent seen plenty of issues come and go, fluctuate and change, storm and recede. So why such intensity - and why 100% of it at Obama vs Congress? Oh, and by the way- The Republican attacks on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid seem to have gone right over their heads, along with the Republicans plans to screw with the tax code, to give the rich even more deductions and raise taxes on the rest of us. HOW can that be? But, ALL their vicious anger is at OBAMA. Spitting mad! Their heads really are about to explode. Too bad they are mad at the wrong guy.
