I dont know what to say right now.. You tried your best.. You gave your everything.. You kept wickets day in and day out.. Getting up, getting down day in and day out... You took bruises on your fingers while doing that job.. You have said it several times that your fingers are now out of shape after doing all this from the last 10 years! No matter how many hate you.. No matter how many love you.. Everyone in this universe knows that you have been the BEST WICKETKEEPER - BATSMAN India has ever seen in test matches.. An average of 39 speaks that.. Yes, your team in the last 4 years havent given you the kind of results that we wanted.. Yes, India has failed overseas under your captaincy.. But MS DHONI, I can only say some things from my side being your die-hard fan... You never really had the kind of bowlers that top teams like Australia, South Africa, England and New Zealand have.. On so many occasions, the batsmen in your team have somehow crumbled when it mattered the most.. They call you defensive without realizing that you just were not able to attack with the kind of resources you had.. All said and done.. You have been great for me as a TEST CAPTAIN as well Mahi.. You were the only captain that gave India the NUMBER 1 Ranking in tests.. You have the highest individual score as an Indian captain in tests.. We might have struggled overseas in the last 4 years or so... People might have forgotten but I have not, That it was under your captaincy when India won a test series after ages in New Zealand in 2009.. That it was under your captaincy when India drew the test series against South Africa in South Africa in 2010-11.. That it was under your captaincy when India white- washed Australia for the first time in 2013.. THANK YOU MS DHONI... For the pain that you have taken for your nation.. For selflessly blaming yourself even when you had not committed a single fault.. For selflessly giving the entire team the credit even when you played amazingly well.. And for each and every happiness that you have given us as a TEST CAPTAIN! There will be no MS DHONI in the future, I can tell you that.. Good Bye LEGEND! With love
