I dont know why people are making such an issue out of this US government snooping thing... i mean, on one hand people dont want 9/11s and on the other hand they want their Personal Freedom Rights. If Snowdens supporters had their way, then an antisocial could as well have used a Personal Freedom Rights excuse to trigger an IED in some building in another part of the planet. Believe me Mister, neither is the NSA nor the US government interested in whatever depraved personal desires or other agenda you may have on the internet (unless it is one out of the purview of the legal system though). Nobody gives a shit about whatever illicit relation you might be having or the gambling/rave party that you are organizing this weekend (unless you are a drug peddler yourself). Saving lives matters and if the government has to sift through every mail sent on the planet to do the same, then i guess it pays off. The FBI/CID/... is not coming knocking on your door to quiz you about your personal stuff. They have a right to come if you plan to go on a shooting spree the next day with that gun you just bought online. So, i guess, people have to make a choice & make it heard to the US government.. Either keep your Rights & absolve the government of all responsibility towards preventing terror attacks or let the government read your mail & let you have a good nights sleep knowing that you are safe and someone is watching over you.
