I dont like crossing swords with people. I especially dont like it when I started a sword fight in haste or stupidity. What I do like is when I meet a noble adversary and we can finish the match, take off the gauntlets, shake hands and laugh at ourselves. The human tangle is real enough. I do myself no good deed by pretending to be above it all. I do myself a favor by remembering that I can be silly and make mistakes at times. Thats good medicine but its bitter in my mouth.
