I dont normally RANT on facebook but today I am making an exception. As the election results were being announced and many were thanking GOD for the news many non believers were commenting that God has no place in government or worse that there is no God. I have 2 comments to that: 1. Because we want to respect everyones right to their own beliefs we have given in on far to many things. We have removed God from just about everything except the walls of our church and our own homes. LOOK WHERE OUR WORLD IS! We have a lack of respect for others, children who believe they have no rules, a complete lack of individual responsibility, and look where our own government is. My generation would not dare do what many of our youth do today for fear of the consequences, both from school and from our parents! 2. As a society we have respected everyones rights to their individual beliefs. You have been allowed to express your lack of faith. So now its your turn. Have some respect for my right to my beliefs and allow me to express my faith in the same manner! God has a place in everything we do! This is my faith and I have a right to my belief! I am sure that my facebook friends numbers will go down and I accept that.
