I dont normally complain on Facebook but Im losing my mind over this. I have terrible TMJ since getting my Invisalign. The TMJ specialist that Ive been referred to says I need an MRI but that I need a medical doctor to give approval for the MRI. Both my doctor and the TMJ specialist are saying that the other person needs to give the approval. They BOTH said this is a difficult grey area. Its now been 5 weeks since I havent been able to open my mouth wide, chew anything etc. Im in pain and Im frustrated and just dead in the water. I wish someone could just help me out a little here. Any suggestions? Ive begged and now cried on the phone with the TMJ specialist to help me. Also stopped the Invisalign process while we figure this out.
