I dont often post about my work, but this, I think, merits description. I spent the last three work days taking a class in ITIL Foundations, the class that makes you able to understand the language and get a basic certification. It was a virtual classroom with a live instructor and just under 20 students. I had a bit of trouble with the classroom conference call at first but got everything to work, and I had a bit of (purely technical) trouble with the online exam the first time around, but when I was actually able to take it I scored 83%. The minimum passing grade is 65%, so I think I did respectably. And I am GLAD its over! ITIL is the Information Technology Infrastructure Library, which is intended to introduce some common language and processes into the IT world.
