I dont post often, but based upon the news I received earlier today, I felt like I had to provide an update. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with cancer in late April. The last 4 months have easily been the most trying and difficult of my life so far. However, during my Dr visit today, I was told that I am cancer free!!! Those are words I was anxiously waiting to hear. I wanted to share this not for my benefit but so those of you who have either lost a loved one to cancer and/or are dealing with this ugly disease currently, know there is hope. Id also like to thank my family (especially Gina, Grant, Shelby and Libby), friends, colleagues and doctors and nurses who stood by me throughout this ordeal and provided me with the support to keep fighting...I could not have done it without each and every one of you. We won...we accomplished what few have been able to do against this disease, and everyone that fought the battle with me deserves credit. Cancer, as for you, I have two words for you....
