I dont read as much as I should and, from what I remember, I used to absolutely hate writing too. I blame my A Level Law tutor for that, whose method of teaching only extended to dictating notes whilst we scribbled away frantically trying to catch his saliva drenched words as they rained around us. It was a complete put off. But to be fair, I was a lazy and an easily distracted student so its not entirely his fault. Years later, I have written more academic works for others than I did in my entire school career and, moreover, found a passion for creative writing. It makes one think though. Sometimes what we try to avoid and run away from all our lives is the one thing which makes us the person we are. It just takes a while for us to see it.
