I dont really like U2. Ive never really been into them, and I doubt that I ever will be at this point. Heres the thing though, I dont know that I really dislike U2. Their music doesnt really make me angry like some bands do. (Im looking at you, Black Eyed Peas. Im also using the term band loosely in their case.) I think that most of my problems lie with Bono. I feel that Bono has a certain air about him that he thinks hes the Gandhi/MLK/Jesus/shaman of rock music. Its really off-putting and irritating to me. I could go on about that, but Im too tired. Edge seems kind of cool, and I honestly dont know too much about Adam and Larry. I DO know that a lot of people are irritated with them about their free album/spam. Maybe more and more people will start leaning away from them now. Only time will tell. Even though U2 is certainly not one of my favorites (mostly Bono), that still doesnt mean that I cant appreciate a song or two now and then. This song wasnt a particularly big hit in the States (#83 on the charts) back in 1989, but I still like it more than most U2 songs. I think it also comes from a time in their careers when they were liked a little bit more.
