I dont say it enough........we have confidence in God. Things are, and have been extremely tough. But we are sure the Lord is in it, and beside us and will get us through it all. Ben has been helping Megan and Sam learn English and they are so much a part of our family now that its amazing to think its only been a couple of months. It will take time to all get settled in, but its snowing in Media again, and it isnt here so thats a big plus. After my final consult with my celiac Dr we decided to become a totally gluten free house........no gluten in the house at all. And simple fact is, Daniel is a different child. He is being so sweet, and his talking in fuller and more understandable sentences. Its really cute. He still has his moments, and still melts down, especially when out some where but its notably improved. For me.........who seemed asymptomatic from celiac disease........well now I know mental fogginess and drowsiness is my major symptom. All those days I needed 5 hour energys to stay awake. For years I have crashed every afternoon and needed a nap. In fact Ive just been through 2 weeks of lectures and classes, and didnt get drowsy even once...........something I havent experienced in years. I was accidentally glutened right before Christmas, and that night fell asleep watching TV at 8pm. Not only am I having no drowsiness, I have a lot more energy. In fact I have been forcing myself to go to bed at 12M,or even 1am and despite usually getting 5-6 hours sleep, I feel great!
