I dont see the point in Facebook, tbh. We post things publicly for people to see, and for what? Recognition? Nowadays, people are lucky to remember your birthday without looking it up on Facebook. Back in the day, people didnt need 100+ friends. They just needed their closest ones. The problem with society is its always trying to expand things. Your friend circle, the cities in which we live in, our bodies are even expanding. People now are trying to find the easy way out for everything. Things used to be more intimate. When was the last time you talked to someone without them looking at their phone or being on facebook? When was the last time you left your phone at home and didnt have a total melt down because of it? Weve become too reliant on technology and grown far too much to the point of where we dont even socialize anymore. Everyone relies too much on gadgets and gizmos that we cant even remember things or tell stories without showing or taking pictures. What ever happened to being able to enjoy yourselves? Partying used to mean going out with your friends and laughing and having a great time, not staring at your phones and listening to music that the DJ is playing. You could have stayed at home for that.
