I dont think Ive ever known or felt being loved for a lifetime because people often leave when they discard me or grow weary. I do know that with all my heart Ive tried my best, based on what I knew, to love those in my life for a lifetime. It may not have been perfect love and it may have been wrought with hard times, but i loved nonetheless and would give all of myself to help another. Its a difficult world we live in and Ill never understand the sadness or why God allows the trials we go through but know that its left me broken. I ask God why did I have this life, why? I ask for the desires of my heart and guess it was only for a moment. Why was I born into such chaos and bitterness? Why couldnt I have been born into joy and to be loved for a lifetime? These are questions I ask all the time but see others with the same despair. I do know, with certainty, that my heart is full of love for my husband, Brent D Elrod, our son, Mitch, Codie, our 4 grand babies, family and friends. Some stay forever as promised while others flee to the hills. I will never flee from you and the promises I made to love you forever and always, even in the hardest of times. Love always
