I dont think Ive ever told Fat Buddys rescue story before. When I got the call about him, little did I know his best friend would be comming also. She was a female bloodhound named Molly. She was the same age, and had markings just like Buddy, but wasnt related. Anyway, Buddy and Molly had been living in seperate kennels, but each one was only 9 x 9.( or maybe it was a 6 x9, I cant remember exactly) When they came here, I dont think they had ever touched the grass before. Both were high stepping on it and kinda scared. Their former owner owned a BBQ restaurant, and Buddy and Molly ate the leftovers every night. You think Buddy is chubby now, you should have seen him before. Hes lost a ton of weight in the past five years. Its hard to make him exercise due to his age, so I would never try. As for Molly, she was adopted into a great home. After Buddy had been here and up for adoption for over a year with no intrest, I decided this would be his home.
