I dont usually use FB to justify any decision I make but there are some people who do not like to talk to me directly so this is my only way to reach them because Im tired of hearing things second hand.....we have missed events because of my daughters love of sports. When I hear does she have to make every tournament, there will be another or do they both have to go, cant one of them come?. YES! She has to make every tournament....she is part of a team and the team counts on every player. We are trying to instill a sense of commitment in our daughter. YES! We both have to be there.... 1. She continues to improve in each game and while she plans on playing for a long time, there is no guarantee that she will. 2. Her father coaches one of the three teams she plays on and there is often a conflict that separates him and I. And for the first time we had a coach bale on her travel team and her dad was asked to help and when he coaches, he is a coach to 11 girls not the parent of one. Lastly, the individuals that I know are irritated by this decision are the ones who would or have made this same decision. #hypocrite
