I dont want to make anyone mad or upset, but I have a serious question I would love to hear answers on. When we got our first boxer there were a couple white puppies in the litter. The breeder was selling them for far less with either AKC limited registration or no papers at all and a spay/neuter contract. When I asked why she said that many white boxers are born with health issues and AKC does not allow the whites for showing so she feels it is wrong to have someone pay the same amount for them as a show/breeding quality dog. She said that white boxers are not to be bred as it may pass on the unwanted qualities of the breed. With that being said, why do I see so many white registered boxers being bred? I admit that she may have given me wrong information and I dont want to start a huge debate, I am just looking for more information from the more experienced breeders that may be here.
