I dont want to sound boastful but i love my life, love my family, my son, my parents, siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts, ancestors, pumpkin vine family, friends, acquaintances, I love my country, I am thankful for all my gifts and blessings and for every lesson learnt, for the ability to think and to speak, to walk upright and to run, to shake hands and to hug, to write and to share, for all that ive accomplished, my goals and works in progress, my ability to cook, paint pictures, tell stories, im grateful for every scraped knee and every well done, for all the breathless moments and the moments that took my breath away. For every first kiss and every sad goodbye, for all the joyful hope and promise that the space between represented, for the experiences carried forward... Sometimes i wake up and feel like cutting up multicoloured pieces of paper into confetti and just throwing it all up in the air so i could stand in a rainbow waterfall. Yes like everyone I have had some major defeats, but i have also had massive victories and those make all the defeats worth the ride, I am thankful for the body of work, the sheer volume of good things in my world fills me to bursting with hope and enthusiasm and excited for the rest of my life. This work i do, these causes for which i fight, they dont define me or limit me, they challenge and embolden me. Each triumph and disaster a new opportunity to make Phillip better and i am humbled by it all. Yes opinions of me matter but not as much as my opinion of myself. I love all those who love me and accept those who hate me as the peel one must get through to get to the good fruit inside :) Life is a wonderful journey not limited to any one experience and that is what i most want to share. Today you and I have the authority and the ability to redesign our world exactly as we want it and no one else can say boo... What are you doing with yours? Today is going to be fantastic, and tomorrow is going to be even better. Wishing everyone a boastfully happy today and an even better tomorrow... Life eh? Such a beautiful thing... :)
