Khas Janjati Sangh committee formed in Samarpani SUKHAYPOKARI, 20 May 2014: Khas Janjati Sang today convened a meeting in Samarpani under Pokrabung-Nagri region and formed a unit committee for Samarpani-10 and 17 villages. The meeting was chaired by Santa Kumar Chettri in the presence of Sang president Asit Chettri, vice president Narendar Chettri, Secretary Sappan Chettri, treasurer Duryodhan Khadka and advisors Jrishna Chettri, Ashok Khadka and Jagat Poudyal. The meeting was also attended by Khas Janjati Sang’s central committee president RK Thakuri and assistant secretary Rabindra Thakuri along with other central members. The meeting decided to form the unit committee keeping in mind the rural location of the two areas and appointed Bilas Bharati as the convener of the committee. The Sang leaders highlighted the Khas community’s history, religion, culture and traditions and the importance of preserving them for future generation.
