I don’t read Brenda Brush’s posts every day, and not always all the way through, but I do notice her captions and on Tuesday, ‘Be nice to everyone today’ was written in a swirly sort of script above the text. If I see something like this first thing in the morning it kind of sticks with me, and all day I had a heightened sense of the niceness of every one I met. Things were going along so swimmingly that, in the evening, I decided to make pleasant overtures to someone with whom I am presently in contention. Well, I think by that time those same helpful planets must have got themselves out of alignment or gone into retrograde or whatever it is they do to mess with one’s intentions, because the negative reception I received knocked me back on my heels, and in retaliation I said some words that were anything but nice. AAAGH! Some serious meditation is in order. Then again, another set of planets will do their thing and ‘tomorrow is another day’ as she said. And indeed it was. This morning in the hallway, I chanced to meet the owners of my next-door apartment. The unit has been empty for a long time and in the ten years I have lived here, I have met this couple no more than two or three times. They wanted me to know the unit is on the market for sale and there would likely be some comings and goings which they hoped would not disturb my husband and me. Those are very kind and thoughtful concerns of theirs, but wait, there’s more: everything has been refurbished and upgraded in the apartment, they told me, and if I had any friends or relatives coming into town for the holidays, they would be most welcome to stay there. What a lovely gesture! At the end of the day, I am still bathed in the comfort of this couple’s kindness. I think Ill give astrology a miss for tomorrow....
