I don’t want to make more or less of Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Joseph (His earthly father) than they deserve. It’s been two weeks since Christmas though and I want to pick up on a lesson they may have been teaching the “church” of our generation. Baby Jesus would have been 2 weeks old by now. As a 2 week old child His diaper would have been changed…what…every two hours or so? Most theologians agree that Mary and Joseph were poor; YET…not one time…is there any record… secular or otherwise that (though I’m sure they had a backlog) these 2 young parent’s ever went on TV and said “You can have a dirty diaper of the Son of God for your gift of $20.00 to support our work of raising Him!” I think they KNEW…God would provide! Way to go Mary and Joseph! I (of course) don’t refer to ALL but God help shysters in the Name of God past, present AND future! #whoops
