I doubt anyone has forgotten where they were during the 9-11 terriost attack on our country. Ill never forget. Me and mom and my granddaughter were in Georgia visiting my grandmother. We hadnt been up long when the phone rang. It was my dad. He said Americas under attack turn the TV on. We just stood there in shock as we watched those planes flying into the world trade center. A fear gripped our hearts like nothing Id ever felt before. My husband was back home in Tennessee hundreds of miles away so was my son and I just kept thinking what if I never see them again. My grandmother lived ten miles from a nuclear plant and we just kept waiting to here the sirens go off at anytime. My husband called me and said he was coming to get us but we heard they were closing down all state lines and feared he wouldnt be able to make it through but he made it late that night and I had never been so happy to see anyone in my life. On the way home we had to stop for gas and had to sit in a line for almost an hour to fill up because everyone was trying to fill up. Can you remember what you were doing on 9-11? Please share. And those of you who lost loved ones my heart goes out to you. They may be gone but never forgotten.
