I dream Manila to one day have an airport as big as Bangkok plus a railway system to make it easier to navigate the city. This is my first time to see the countryside of BKK and its not too far from ours. Martial law may have affected tourism... But I still saw long queues of tourists lining up. Gil and I decided to try their train and was amazed at how orderly and clean it was. Many times, Gil was offered a seat by the teenagers. The Thais are indeed a courteous and respectful people. I also noticed they tried to limit the billboards along the way so it looks uncluttered. My friend Kinley , a Bhutanese, is impatiently waiting for us to start our adventure to Bhutan. I will discover how simplicity and purity of their values have made them a happy race. I must admit to a bit of anxiety for challenge in the coming days ...as we will be doing up to 3 hour trails... The first day of our team building adventure begins tomorrow . Already, we are munching only on fruits , nuts and sleeping early in order to take the only flight that will take us there. I am told it is easy to miss the runway to the landing site. I hope we only need to do it once but then again.... They say the sight will be spectacular.....so fingers crossed we will get there and see a place where time will take us back to the 1930s.....and where gourmet food is not available. Yet... People are happy....đź‘Ś
