I enjoy futbol and respect the players skills, athleticism, and conditioning, but to say the players are tougher than NHL, NFL, NBA, or even MLB players is laughable to say the least, especially when your argument hinges on the idea that they dont wear pads, therefore theyre tougher. Water polo players dont wear pads either, does that make the tougher than all of the above? No. Even in baseball, the players are *encouraged* to raise their cleats when they slide to break up a double-play, or knock the ball out of the catchers glove. Futbol players have nothing but their cleats, arent even allowed to use them, and when they get tapped in the shin pads that they do wear, they cry like the babies that they are instead of sucking it up like real *tough* professional athletes. In a sport where any contact draws a foul, where that level of sensitivity entices players to flop like fish in every game, in the day and age of YouTube to prove it, to say otherwise just undermines your own integrity and the value of your words.
