It was a special game for Debbie Toussaint, whose son, Peyden, is a senior on the team. “It’s great to see all these kids grow up together,” Toussaint said. “They’re so happy to play together and they’re a really great team together.” She was often the starting “D” to the crowds’ cheers of “defense” throughout the game, jumping for joy with a smile full of pride as her son made an interception just before halftime. “They’re pumped up, they’re ready for this,” she said after the interception. “I think they’re going to do great.”
