I fancy myself (to the degree that my limited intellect allows it) - TopicsExpress

I fancy myself (to the degree that my limited intellect allows it) a constitutional conservative. For the last four years - I have watched the GOP cave in, give in and go along with everything the Dems demanded (TARP, Obamacare, Amnesty, raising the debt ceiling, NDAA, you name it) and I am over it. The GOP is CLEARLY no longer the party of Constitutional or conservative values, and to continue to vote for liberals and expect constitutional conservative government is insane to me. I want DC the hell out of my wallet AND my bedroom, and the only way to do that is by backing the Tea Party or the Libertarian candidate. Its not a horse race - its my country. My vote counts, Im not going to waste it on big government liberals anymore, just because they have an (R) after their name. If you are a conservative and constitutional governance is important to you - you should quit backing phonies and do the same, IMV. If EITHER party had politicians who were principled men that abided by the constitutional limitations of government and actually honored their duty to defend our freedoms and property rights - our country would look like America again. When I look at my country Im not sure WHAT I see anymore - but it sure as hell isnt the nation built by people who crossed the continent in covered wagons, kicked out the British, or defeated Hitlers Nazis. Instead - every day. it looks more like Rome right before the Visigoths came to call. In fact, if you bake in the rise of radical Islam with the liberalization / moral degradation of the US - the analogy is particularly chilling, IMV PS: If anyone enjoys networking with fellow conservatives, shoot me a friend request - Chris Martineau Author To read more, visit me here: amazon/Chris-Martineau/e/B00LT3O594/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0
