I feel jealous. Even with all this studying, coaching and reading up, sometimes it still gets to me. And today was just one of those days. With social media, its so so easy to think that another persons life is perfect. But its not. On Instagram you could appear to be soo wealthy, when in reality your not. You could look so pretty with all those filters, lighting and makeup - but without out, you look average. After all we only show our highlights to people. Thats the problem. We look at the screen and compare our whole lives, to the one percent perfection of what people show. And sometimes that gets to us. The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes with everyone elses highlight reel. ~Steve Furtick. Nobodys life is perfect. And heres whats more important: what you see is NOT reality. Some of the most richest people, spending on luxury cars, designer items are actually broke, taking up loans to keep up appearances. What may look like a luxury holiday, might actually be a free upgrade. Maybe the designer bag was brought from a consignment shop. Worst of all, this finance maybe be coming from haram sources. Lastly, each and every person has their own problems. Some people have money but their parents are divorced. Some people have looks but their relationships never last. Some people have education but theyre so insecure inside. Reality is not what is seems. Dont ever be fooled by 2 things: 1) A persons words 2) And their appearances.
