I feel justified in the amount of energy I just put into killing a spider that was holding me hostage in the bathroom. Look, Im more horrified of spiders than I would be of a masked man carrying a machete popping out from behind my shower curtain, locking the door, and turning out the lights because Im allergic to their vicious bites. I took off my shoes and threw them at it. Nothing. Sprayed him with perfume. Nothing. Grabbed the plunger (remind me to put a weapon of mass destruction in there for future spiders), climbed on the toilet, stretched 1 foot to the sink holding the swinging light to balance (yeah...) & get my other foot on it, beat it with the plunger, jumped down and leaped to the kitchen so not to step on the body and ran. Job well done.
