I feel like a PIN CUSHION today, oh what a day I had today spend most of the afternoon sitting in the drs office and having 3 tubes of blood drawn and before the lab work was done had to leave to get the kids from school. just to get home and hear a message they have to do a CT scan on my neck at 3 today, so now I am panicking call husband home from work and back to the doctors we go, after blowing out one of my veins and having 3 more holes in my arm, just for the ct scan stuff to be put in. just to find out that everything was fine, and came back normal and they have no idea why the infection spread so they have to give me 2 more shots, 1 on each side of my hip. and than sit there for another 15 min. to make sure I do not have a reaction to the 2 antibiotics shots. SO I SPENT over 4 HOURS Today AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE. by the way it cost $1300.00 for a ct scan lucky for us the insurance will pick up 90% of the bill. THE GOOD NeWS is I can swallow now with out it hurting and the swelling has gone down on my neck. All this was from a simple ear infection that spread, and the meds they gave me cleared up the ear problem but made my neck swell up like a swallowed a balloon
