I feel like it was just the other day that I started designing the set of THS Presents: RENT School Edition with my favorite co-designer Stephanie Bont. It was a fun, educational, and life altering experience, and I owe so many people my thanks. Steph blew my mind with the skeleton wall idea, which lead to our motto of #trashyperfection. Jessica Spillane let my imagination run wild, much to the dismay of Matt Bracksieck, yet he was able to construct the coolest set THS has ever seen. Shannon Healy Bolan made sure we didnt have to worry about the budget, or scheduling, really she made everything worry free. Kathy Bolton and Beena Jacob did an amazing job making the set decoration and dressing absolutely perfect, and the lighting, designed by Jess Rende and B, brings it home. Alex Mark and Greg St Germain volunteered their time to help pull together last minute details, sacrificing their spring breaks. Rebecca Feuerberg, Ian Matz and Ian Maloney all got roped into helping me, and they all proved to be competent and worthy production assistants, a position I helped create at THS. And to everyone else that had a hand in assembling this beautiful piece of art, thank you from the bottom of my heart. RENT runs through Sunday- go see the show!
