I feel so deeply saddened like the rest of the Australian Music - TopicsExpress

I feel so deeply saddened like the rest of the Australian Music Industry and the general public are too with the passing of the legendary and iconic former lead singer of: THE ANGELS Bernard Patrick Doc Neeson. I absolutely loved and adored THE ANGELS. I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve seen them live in concert but on every occasion that I saw them perform live, they never, ever did a bad performance and they never, ever let their adoring and the full support of their Australian fans down….I was never tired in seeing them live in concert at all-god knows how many times I saw them….they certainly and really were the life of the Australian Rock Pub Scene Party. During their live performing career, THE ANGELS always delivered 1000% with sheer brilliance and pure energy and Doc Neeson was certainly part of that forefront delivering such physically and unstoppable very, very fantastically good and fantastic performances in his brilliant lifetime. On stage, you would see Neeson as this crazy, mad, scary, Prince of Darkness type Character with flair but from that moment he would start performing, he was so dynamically full of charisma, so alive, vibrant, and full of energy….he truly did deliver 1000% sheer brilliance in his concert performances. THE ANGELS had left an incredibly good and fantastic body of work. They always released one great album after another. They really were a consistently very hard working Australian Rock Band. Like their Australian rock musical peers: AC/DC [the Bon Scott era] COLD CHISEL MIDNIGHT OIL ICEHOUSE INXS HOODOO GURUS HUNTER & COLLECTORS, THE ANGELS were so dominate and so consistently very, very good in always putting out brilliantly superb timeless rock songs and timeless rock albums as well as I mentioned earlier, in their pure electric magnificently brilliant live concert performances. Though a brain tumour claimed him at age of 67, Neeson remains in many minds as the intense and energised man who dominated stages in hundreds of venues, most of which gave up the ghost long before he even slowed down. Now, Doc will head into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Heaven and will join the Australian Contingent of other late great Australian performers in: CHRISSY AMPHLETT BILLY THORPE MARC HUNTER MICHAEL HUTCHENCE BON SCOTT and the one who opened the door to Australian Rock with such strong force and dominance, the wild one himself of course: JOHNNY O’KEEFE. My love and sincere condolences goes out to Doc’s family during this extremely sad time and to the people that have had a long close musical working relationship with Doc especially to Graham Buzz Bidstrup and John and Rick Brewster. R.I.P. Rock In Peace Dear Doc....Thank you Belfast, Ireland for bringing this magnificent, fun loving, genuine Rock music talent and always fantastic and Brilliant performer in Bernard Patrick Doc Neeson to Australia. We Love you Dear Doc and again R.I.P. Rock In Peace Dear Friend. Australian Rock will never be the same without you. May his songs live on forever. Gone but not forgotten in our minds and in our hearts always
