I feel so flustered because a certain person in my life thinks that I should feel guilty about not sticking to a strict schedule and leave time to help out the business. I made my class schedule 7 days a week for a reason... Im sorry that I dont go to a school within a 5 mile radius from home or the nail salon anymore.. Im sorry that I cant work at the salon as often or as dedicated like I used to. I want to be more than just a nail salon girl; I want to help people more than just an hourly cosmetic service per client.. and it really hurts to know that I cant be responsible for myself nor my future just because you pay for my tuition, my car, my insurances, my existence. It doesnt make sense that you expect me to do better than where you were if I cant even leave to gain experience elsewhere.. Being supported emotionally means more to me than what youre paying for financially.. its more memorable knowing that you were there for my struggles and kept me going for my dreams than to just say hey.. I have no debts thanks to you. Is it really that hard to understand that my life doesnt revolve around the business anymore? The confusion of whether I should save up to move out.. or stay and endure the overwhelming frustration that has grown drastically is still within me, and I hope one day I find the strength to do whats right for me without feeling bad about leaving the family...
