The part I like about it is: not owing a bank forever on a huge stupid mortgage; and having more time to enjoy your life because youre not a slave to your job to pay a ridiculous mortgage. I get it that there are people who get a house and pay it off and have their careers etc. How many people who are close to me have actually done that in their life? (Paid off their home). I personally know only about two. Some have woke up one day and lost their jobs, or taken a pay cut. There are different variations/sizes of a tiny house. But, the whole point is to cut back.. and minimize to live more freely. Of course you cant have a family (not a big one anyway) in a house like this, but our lives are lived, for the most part, based on the choices we make.
